Server Migration - WP Site

To complete the migration, DNS records for your domain(s) need to be updated to “point” to the new server. WP NET does not have access to some or all of the affected domains to make the required DNS changes.

You can authorise WP NET Support to make the DNS changes for you OR confirm a contact for us to follow up with and request the changes, once the migration has been scheduled.

To minimise any disruption, we will try to perform the migration at a time of low site activity, usually late at night. Some visitors may see a “maintenance” page for a few minutes while the DNS changes finalise.

WP NET support will securely transfer all your account data to a new server. Once the data has migrated and we have tested it, we will notify you.

Do not make any changes to your domain’s DNS records until we have contacted you to confirm.

Please note that someone in your organisation will need to access your domain’s management control panel and make the DNS changes to finalise the migration. The DNS should be updated as soon as possible, after we have completed the migration of your data.

When you are ready to change the DNS, any ‘A’ record set to 103.18.59.87 should be changed to 45.77.237.135.
