WooCommerce 3.2 is out, and I thought it might be a good idea write a comprehensive guide to help our customers (and others) who find the process a little daunting. So, here it is…

Before You Update WooCommerce … STOP!
Updating WooCommerce is a more involved process than updating most other WordPress plugins and we urge you to read this article in full and understand the implications of installing a WooCommerce update.
Because WooCommerce is so fundamental to the way that your WordPress site works it is important to follow a procedure to ensure that your site continues to function correctly.
WooCommerce 2.6 was recently released and includes many changes, improvements and fixes. Most notably, WooCommerce now includes “native” support for Shipping Classes — a long requested and very welcome feature.
Other changes include some UI improvements, with AJAX refreshes for the Cart pages and a nice tabbed interface for the My Account pages. You can read more about the changes on the WooCommerce Dev blog.
Thinking of updating to WooCommerce 2.6?
While this is an exciting update for WooCommerce users, there are a few important things to be aware of before you upgrade. This is a major update and should ideally be performed by a web designer or developer who can ensure that everything goes smoothly and recoverable backups are taken before any changes are made.
If you use WooCommerce, chances are you also use PayPal. Many PayPal users have begun receiving notification from PayPal regarding various security updates to their systems. Included in these updates are changes to the IPN (Instant Payment Notification) URLs. Many users are concerned about the impact this may have on their PayPal payments processing with WooCommerce.

- The plugin regroups and hides the components of the address : address_1, address_2, city, state, postcode, country.
- It adds a new “Address field” based on Google Places API.
- The user begins to type his address, Google completes it.
- The user chooses the correct address among Google suggestions.
